COD Warzone Pacific not working

Once Pacific launched it would not load. Kept getting a connection error (goldflake) or disconnected from Activision servers. I tried restarting, clearing cache, and power down for 5 min nothing worked. I bought game pass and now it works fine. But I should not of had to. It says in store not needed but would not load until I got game pass. This needs to be fixed or specified in details on the store.

As you said the game is free and you do not need to buy a subscription to Xbox Live.

I don't know if Microsoft is playing smart or they want to avoid too many people accessing warzone servers at the moment that the game is fresh.

We have to wait but this sucks.

Does this mean that an xbox live gold subscription will be needed forever regarding warzone pacific ? Does warzone pacific (so this new update) requires xbox live gold to play now/today or it's just a "bug" due to the update that Activision/Raven software/Infinity Ward will fix in the days ahead ? Before, I could play warzone verdansk completely for free (without any subscription) but if activision puts warzone pacific under a subscription this would be really irritating.

Still having issue have not been able to play warzone pacific at all on main account. My sons account works fine same xbox same settings.

I have xbox gold gold live, went out & bought vanguard, completely reset my xbox, completely reinstalled modern warfare, warzone pacific & installed vanguard.

When I select modern warfare, warzone pacific starts up, freezes then goes back to the main screen showing vanguard, warzone, black ops cold war & modern warfare.

Only vanguard will play.

I don't even own black ops?

I have now spent god knows how many hours resetting/formatting the x box one, reinstalling EVERYTHING but it's still not bloody working!!!!!

WTH is happening.

I only really play warzone.

Think I may bin x box & buy a PlayStation.

Click with the menu button on the game icon and go to manage game and add-ons and in saved data delete the ''reserved space'', clean your console's MAC, restart when prompted, and try again.

To clean the MAC follow this path

Settings>general>network settings>advanced settings>alternative MAC address and click clear and restart the console when prompted.
