    COD Setting won’t Save Xbox Series X


    Everytime I start the game (XBOX Series X) my settings reset and I am presented with the call of duty setup menu and all my setting are gone and do not save. Also, anytime you select anything the game freezes for 10 seconds as it trying to process the action. I’ve had this problem for a week + and the game has become unplayable. If I sit in the warzone lobby, the syncing call of duty data appears quickly and goes away. I tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling but it didn’t fix anything. Anybody else having this issue or got it fixed.

    From your description, I understand that the game resets when you launch Call of Duty. I understand your confusion about this issue.



    Please try resetting the Xbox power supply:

    1. Press and hold the "Xbox" button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until the console is completely turned off to turn off the console.

    2. Unplug the console's power cord and wait for at least 10 seconds (this step will reset the power).

    3. Replug the console's power cord and press the "Xbox" button on the console to turn it on.

    Disclaimer: Before performing any reset operations, make sure you have backed up all important data.



    Please try deleting and re-adding your Xbox profile:

    Step 1: Delete your account from the console:

    Press the Xbox button to open the navigation page, select Profile and system > Settings > Accounts > Delete account. Select your account and confirm the deletion.

    Then restart the console.

    Step 2: Re-add your account to the console:

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide, select Profile & System, and then select Add or Switch.

    Select Add New. Enter your Microsoft account email address and password.

    Finish personalizing setup on the next few screens.



    If the above methods do not solve your problem, I think it may be necessary for you to report the issue to the game website and the Xbox team. More reports will attract the attention of the Xbox team.

    Please turn off your Xbox Series X by holding the power button for 10 seconds, unplug the power cable for about 5 minutes, then plug it back in and turn the console on.

    And make sure your game and console are fully updated. Sometimes, updates can fix bugs that cause issues like this.

    Next is to clear Alternative MAC Address: Go to Settings > General > Network Settings and clear the alternative MAC address.

    If none of these steps work, please contact the game developer who are the Activision Support: https://support.activision.com/ to seek further assistance.
