COD Points Never Credited to my Account

So I basically just got screwed over by Xbox.

About two months ago I made a purchase of $70 worth of COD points, that way I’d have some for the new COD cold war. I didn’t have internet up until yesterday (December 12th). So after two months I got on and updated my games thinking I’d have the points,
but got nothing. All I had was the 50 COD points from before I lost internet. I reached out to Microsoft for a refund in order to buy the points again, but I got denied the refund because Ive already refunded a few things this year. So I got **** out of my
money and I cant really do anything about it. I need help.

hi there, unortunately we have no control over here in regards to refunds and the likes, it would all be dealt with over at the xbox support site.

The only real information i can offer is that usually premium currency on games is usually non-refundable, and in regards to refunds there are only so many that are permitted , and even though you can request a refund , it does not mean you are guaranteed
a refund.

what i would say is from personal experience is ... you say you purchased cod points 2 months ago? but from my knowledge cold war only released less than a month ago? so if i am correct then you would have purchased cod points for an older COD game?

if this is the case then you have to load up the relevant game for the points to appear in that game, then when you load up the newer game you should be prompted with a transfer, i made this mistake with the last game, i purchased points for the older modern
warfare thinking it was for the newer game, and i had ot borrow a disc for that game , load it up then i was able to transfer my points to the latest itteration of the game. i hope this helps.

I purchased COD points through the Virtual Store and it charged my bank account for the points but they were never added to my activision account. Am I missing a step or do I need to request a refund for my money?

My account was hacked before they charged my credit card 100 dollars for points. microsoft knew it was something I would never do so they froze my account. I changed the password after that

I looked and I did have it it showed I spent money on the game for cod points in 2020 and I’ve had my Xbox account for years I never had another one
