COD on PC crashing

Here is one of the actual error messages:

Create2Dtexture( rubble_core_concrete_cracks_01_col,256, 256, 0, 77) failed: 887a0005 = The GPU device instance has been suspended. Use GetDeviceRemovedReason to determine the appropriate action.

The message is slightly different each time it crashes. The info inside the parentheses changes, but the error, however, is always 887a0005.

I rebooted the PC but the error continues to appear.

Hi - this error has never occurred on this PC ever. I have had it at least 2 years with no issues. The error only happens with this game, COD MW Remastered. It is the PC version of the game. It seemed to work fine for a few hours, then the error appeared and I can't proceed.

PC specs:

- Dell desktop, Intel i7-10700 @ 2.90 GHz

- 16GB RAM

- 64 bit OS

- Windows 11 Home, version 22H2

- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER, Version 512.77

Hi - to answer Anderson's question - this error has never occurred on this PC ever. I have had it at least 2 years with no issues.

The game is COD MW Remastered, and it is the PC version. I have played it for a few hours with no issues until the fatal error appeared.

Now the error appears right away and I can't continue.

My PC:

Have played 3-4 hours of the game so far and this just popped up today - twice. Any ideas?

Need a bit more information.

• Which Call of Duty game?
  
• Your PC specs?
  

Quick google for this error only shows Modern Warfare Remastered, and without the specs of your PC it's impossible to know why you're getting this error.
