COD MWII on Xbox AND PC?

As long as you don't use the same Activision account at the same time on both devices. You can play the game.

If not probably you're going to receive a message in the first device as soon as you open the game in the second device

The way it is supposed to work is that, to install Warzone, it needs to install a version of MWII (given WZ is a game mode of MWII):

"For Non-Modern Warfare owners: A version of Modern Warfare that provides access to only the Warzone portion can be downloaded separately from Modern Warfare as a free-to-play experience on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Games Store, or the Battle.net App (PC)."

It does stipulate in the Xbox store that Warzone includes MWII:

same goes for console as you can use mouse and keyboard on console too so that gives the same advantage as pc, then if you are on series x you get higher fps and again more of an advantage, so it all levels out with pc too. so if you are on xbox one s then you will always be at a disadvantage even if gameplay was locked to xbox consoles only. welcome to the future of gaming.

Where are you saying they stated that?

if the new cod then just make sure you sign in with the same cod account as the console.
