    Hey Guys,

    I was wondering if anybody new anything about when COD MW3 will become backwards compatible on Xbox One S.

    This is an amazing game and I cant understand why this has not happened yet?

    360 Compatibility games: Why don't some download?

    Modern Warfare 3 is not backwards compatible. So it won't work with an Xbxo One. You can find a list of games that are compatible at https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibility/available-games

    The $29 one you saw is the Xbox One version of the game which is backwards compatible with the Series S/X. The 360 version is not backwards compatible.

    As an owner of an xbox one s I do play xbox 360 games with backwards compatibility. The simplest way to explain how it does this is this: the xbox one essentially opens up the xbox 360 software to be able to play the games that are backwards compatible.
