COD MW2 Data Reset

I’ve recently been trying to get back onto Modern Warfare 2, but cannot access my profile data. When I enter the multiplayer screen, a notice appears that says “Your data is from an old version of the game. You must reset your rank and unlocks to continue.”
This occurs both on Xbox One and 360.

Has anyone had this same experience or know how to work around it? I really dont want to have to reset my profile.

Sorry to hear it. I've looked up this error code online and it seems as though this has happened to a lot of people and is usually due to getting into a modded lobby. I'm afraid you may need to either delete your save and start over or contact the devs
for more assistance.

Yeah, Ive maxed prestiged on every CoD since W@W except MW2 (and I had the most play time in MP on it, like 60 days). W@W-10 prestiges. MW2--3rd prestige. BO1-15 prestiges. MW3- 20 prestiges. BO2-10 prestiges. We need a CoD TOTAL stats over
CoD career (using EVERY CoD you have played.) Anyways, congrats.

dont bring back cod 4 maps that were brought over from cod 4 to mw2 they are very old. Bring back ONLY mw2 maps not the same maps from cod 4 that were in mw2.

COD MW2 and COD WAW is impossible to rate. MW2 is a beta, still waiting for the real thing and WAW is WWII.
