Unfortunately I've put Gears 5 on the back burner since the release of CoD: MW, but CoD: MW is my game of choice at the moment.

Hi there. Unfortunatly getting a ps4 would probably not help as its not an issue on microsofts end but on activisions end. They are experiencing many many issues for example they are having mahor server issues due to high traffic volumes, there is a record
that error where it may only record like 5 seconds instead of 30 second or not at all, some accounts are having major sign in issues that stop them from even being able to play. Sadly these issues are on all devices. Basically the only thing that can be done
is wait for them to fix these issues and keep trying to get a game when nd where we can. Just keep trying it might eventually install and if not hopefully on the next patch they fix this issue. I hope this helps and I hope you are safe and well during these
