CoD MW Crashing/ Bricking Xbox one X

So Long story short, Ive been unable to play CoD for almost 2-3 weeks Due to it trying to load the MP Menu (*photo below) and then Hard crashing, Its the only game that does this and while trying to play it, The xbox sounds like a jet trying to take off
(ill mention that its in a very well ventilated area) and Activation havent been much help at all since i first tweeted to them on the 17/2 ( still no response) , Is it possible to request a full refund on the game as its technically faulty and i feel like
it would affect the Australian Consumer laws? MS dont have a support crew/Chat that would be able to Help out with refunds ect and im lost at what i can do. like dont get me wrong, its a great game but lack of support from the Dev team/ Publisher is whats
killing it all.. ive already try to follow the steps from last time this happened but no success and the support page Straight up says its an xbox support team issue

So far the inly game that makes mi xbox one x to crash is Borderlands 3 CoD MW has not yet do this to me at all...

Sad to read the situation you are facing. After investigating a bit, I saw that there are people still complaining about this issue on Xbox One X.

I would contact with Xbox Support team to see if they can refund you the purchase, as you are unable to play it properly.

COD Modern Warfare is causing fatal windows registry errors (E100,E101,E102 etc) and causing xbox one x’s to completely fail. I already had to buy a new xbox one x due to cod MW. Unless you have $350 to buy a new xbox play MW cautiously. I haven’t heard
of MW causing any fatal issues with Xbox one S only the X. Hopefully, after many more complaints activision will start compensating players that had their xbox one x’s destroyed because of MW. Another friend of mine had his xbox one x destroyed today due to
COD MW. This is completely ridicolous that activision does not admit responsibility for costing people so much money. If MW has caused your Xbox X to become a paperweight please post about your issue so hopefully activision will address this.

I've heard MW made One Xs get really hot.

I had a second hand One X and MW crashed a lot and froze etc.

Sent the One X back for a refund and bought a brand new one instead. The new one works perfectly and MW has not crashed once, so it could be yours had an issue and MW has finished it off
