COD Modern Warfare vanished from library

On Wednesday morning while playing COD MW multiplayer on Xbox One X, I started having problems finding a match. I checked for an update, found one, & initiated the download. The update was 59.X GB. I have my Xbox set to automatically update & this one
was rather large, so I cancelled the update at about several 100 MBs & checked online to see what the update was about & found nothing. I went to Microsoft’s Support page & followed their instructions for poor game performance by restarting my Xbox. When it
rebooted, COD MW was no longer in my library. The only evidence that it had been there were the addons listed under Leftover Addons in the Manage Storage section. I went to the Microsoft store figuring I could just reinstall it (I bought it in October 2019),
but there was no Reinstall option, only a Buy option. Microsoft’s Support page recommends a reinstall, so I clicked the Buy button thinking maybe it wouldn’t count as a purchase, but it did. I reinstalled & am back online with all my progress intact. How do
I get a refund for the second purchase? If I follow Microsoft’s instructions & request one through their Support page, I assume they will somehow rescind the last download & I’ll be back to square one (square one being no game with a bunch of useless addons).
