COD:Modern Warfare random stutter and freeze in game + Game Disc back has wiggly/wavy lines

While playing COD, the game suddenly freezez for about 10-20 seconds then resumes normally. Happens every couple of minutes and is very irritating. Happens inside gameplay and in movie sequences.

When I got the disc out to see if it's scratched, it wasn't but it had REALLY WIGGLY LINES, not smooth concentric circles or a (clear) reflection, this had distorted lines all over without a single scratch, the lines are like EMBODIED in the disc. I'm guessing
it's the same thing that happens if the xbox overheats and damages the disc.

I don't think this is normal, and I AM NOT A HARDCORE GAMER who games like 5-6 hours consecutively. I may use it to watch netflix for a couple of hours while the disc is inside, and it has sufficient air flow.

Is this the reason for the stuttering? or are these wiggly lines ok? My other discs have them but at a much much less capacity, and some don't have at all although i use them as well.

Not sure what to do or think here, and is there a way to play it with out the disc?

Xbox one graphic issues

Ever since I brought my xbox one I have been seeing problems, like on cod ghosts the words are blurry and on the menu there are wavy lines. It's the same with battlefield is well when you look in the sky there are wavy lines and in dark places there are
wavy lines is well

I just typed out how they spelt it on this site, and this site showed a red wiggly line. When I typed it out Behaviour, no willy line. My locale settings for this site kicked in. Colour no wiggly line. Color, wiggly line. I guess American English is a bit
colloquial.

The ripples you see on your disc are normal and not a cause for concern. To clarify, are you using an Xbox 360 or an Xbox One, also does the issue pop up with any other games or is it just with Call of Duty? Let us know

Thanks for the reply, No, I'm using an Xbox One, and the Popup issue doesn't happen with any other game. Could this be a heating issue with the xbox that cause over heating which in turn cause damage to the disc? How can i begin to prove/disprove this hypothesis.

To test, do you have a friend with an Xbox One that you can test your disc with? Once it's installed, the disc is generally only used for authentication, as the game is installed entirely on your Xbox One.
