COD Modern Warfare - Physical Copy Issue After WarZone Update

Hi,

Just wanted to see if anyone else has encountered this issue and if they had an resolution(s) beyond deleting and reinstalling?

So I have a physical copy of Modern Warfare which worked fine up until they released the update, 18GB that adds WarZone to the game. After this when I launch the game I can no longer access single player or multiplayer. I have a screen divided into 3, the
first tells me I can buy Modern Warfare to gain access to "content" usable in WarZone, if I click proceed it shows the current digital price of the game. The middle is WarZone and the last part is advertising the Battle Pass.

TLDR;

My system for some reason doesn't think I own the content on the disc I used to launch the game since the WarZone update.

The same thing happened to me but i forgot i downloaded it to an external hard drive that was accidentally unplugged. Check for that if thats you lol

Im having this issue also. You said you uninstalled everything....

Everything as far as what.

All games or just modern warfare and warzone

Disable Internet and start the game. This should fix it without reinstalling the game.

Same issue just happened to me today. I was playing the game last night fine. And now it started acting up. I've had nothing but numerous issues with this game since launch with server crashing, system errors. Never buying another cod again. Fix your game.

Still tells me to purchase digitial copy even when I have a physical copy of the game and hard restarted my xbox. Disappointed.
