    CoD: Modern Warfare 2019 Asking to buy multiplayer with disc inserted.


    My friend that owns the game on Xbox One who has the game on a Disc can't play with me because it tells him he has to purchase the game after the Warzone update came out.

    He has done multiple attempts and did everything posted about the issue online and other forums including:

    • Restarting his Xbox One
    • Restarting his internet router
    • Deleting and reinstalling the game
    • Clearing his MAC address
    • Downloaded the game offline then went online, updated the game online, and still could not play
    Is there anything else that he can do that might resolve his issue? Thanks!

    Have you gotten this error on COD Modern Warfare (2019)? If so, that means that your maps are probably corrupted. I suggest reinstalling modern warfare.

    Hi @anbuj001

    You get the "Oops.not sure what happened here. Please try again later." when you try and install the multiplayer pack from within the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 game. This is the error I was getting. If you close the window you will see the dreaded PILUM error code!

    So as per my post, you need to navigate to the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 game in the Xbox game store, choose the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Digital S..." edition and then scroll down to the "In This Bundle" portion.

    Then choose the multiplayer pack for Call of Duty Modern Warfare and install that.

    The reason for the error is because Call of Duty Warzone versions have been updated, but the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 game multiplayer included version link has not, hence the error you get.

    I literally just bit the bullet and went all in for the CoD: Modern Warfare Operator Enhanced edition.

    I'm actually not a huge fan of the COD B04 unrealistic nature of the game, but MW looks amazing.
