CoD Ghosts Update won't install.

Discus and support CoD Ghosts Update won't install. in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; A few weeks ago, there was an update for CoD:Ghosts.     CoD Ghosts Update won't install.


    A few weeks ago, there was an update for CoD:Ghosts. I was able to install the game and play it fine until the update came up. It keeps saying installation stopped and "Sorry, that didn't work for some reason." and it won't install. I've been restarting
    the update for a week now and I only got to play it for about 7 hours. The disc is in beautiful condition. My other games work on the Xbox one and update great but not Ghosts. Please help if you can, thanks! The error code is 0x80070002.

    COD Ghosts has installed but won't update or play!?!

    Ok so, I've completed the initial startup update and this has completed allowing me to use the xbone. I've been playing around in the dashboard with no problems. I insert COD Ghosts (disk) and it starts to install... Part way through it say ready to play,
    not sure what percentage of the install it was at but that shouldn't matter right? So the game start to load then... COD Ghosts needs and update... Getting ready (loading circle arrears on screen). Them all of a sudden 'There was a problem with the update'.
    I try again, no luck. I check network connection with both wired and wireless. Both fine and no problems. I wait for the install to complete and try again, same thing. It say COD Ghosts needs and update but it won't update cause 'there is a problem with the
    update'... Meanwhile it keeps flicking between (in a loop) to the COD Ghosts startup image (as if the game is starting) then back to needs an update screen, then to problem with update screed and so on. Is anyone else having problems with COD Ghosts update???

    COD Ghost update

    Finally able to install the update. But now the game won't load. Cannot get past the screen with the Ghost character. Very frustrating! :-(

    CoD Ghosts Update won't install.

    After a hard reset of the Xbox (this probably wont help but always the first thing to try) I would think your only option is to uninstall the game , disconnect the internet before you reinstall it , then reconnect and try the update again...(yes, this will
    take FOREVER)

    Highlight it under "my games and apps" then hit the "menu" button on your controller.......

    Battlefield 4 - won't update, so can't play.

    I'm getting the same problem with COD Ghosts... Day one update was fine. COD Ghosts installed 100% try to play but says needs update, but the says there is s problem with the update! Checked connections and that's fine with no errors??? But cause can't update
    I can't play... Ridiculous!

    It took my COD Ghosts ages to move from 0% to 1%.

    There was a 1.2 GB tittle update for it. This has to be applied before it installs.

    After the update was done, it took only half an hour or less to install it. Ghosts can actually be played when install reaches 54% completion.

    Was there a title update to be applied to BF4? And if so, what size was it?

    Ghosts - Hard Copy - Only get Local Play on Multiplayer

    Some players on the CoD Ghosts site have mentioned they had a corrupt installation and saw the same thing and that the game wouldn't ask to download the updates while on Wifi connections -

    I recommend giving their tips a try.

    Disable Wifi

    Uninstall Ghosts

    Install Ghosts

    Connect to the Internet for updates

    Load Ghosts and see if you get your options for online play again.
