COD:Ghosts - on launch it is VERYU slow and often freezes for 60 seconds

so recently, when i launch COD. it pops up then freezes for a while, then continues with jittery sound for a few seconds, then freezes for about 60 seconds.

then afterwards, i can play just fine.

its damned annoying !

Xbox games are slow to startup

Hello friends,

When starting up a game whether it is fifa 14 or cod ghosts sometimes my xbox will start the game but be extrememly slow on startup. An example would be fifa 14 when it loads it will bring up the flag of the country of the language you use and it will be
extrememly slow and almost seem like it will freeze. Restarting the xbox by holding the power button for 10 seconds fixes it but it is just annoying everytime i turn my console on to have to restart it because of the game being slow. What could possibly be
wrong? I tried uninstalling and restalling and that doesnt do anything

Call of duty ghosts and the demo for deadrising3, will not launch correctly. What is the problem? I am playing Battlefield4 from disk flawless, not one freeze. Anyone else having this nightmare. BTW , I paid 60 dollars no refund for downloadedCOD,
are you kidding me? Error image file 59. What a joke. Fix this travesty.

 

This my friend happened to me the way i fixed it was power down your console hold power button for 5/8 secs.then reset your internet worked for me

 

unfortunately, i have tried this and i get the same after a complete power down.

 

Hi Hex! I'm sorry to hear you're having some issues. In addition to the complete power down, let me ask, have you also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game? I know that does take some time, but it may be an effective solution.

Also, did you seem to notice this issue after a recent update (title or system) or does it seem to be separate from any updates?

 

yes, i uninstalled the game and spent quite some time downloading the 40GB of data

yet the problem still persists.

the problem only appeared when 1404 came out.

 

I'm having the same exact problem. I've tried everything and it still freezes.

 

i ended up turning off that "fast game launch" option in settings / power up

(apologies, i cant remebmer the exact option name)

which forces a clean game restart every time.
