CoD Ghosts glitched?

Okay, I am playing this game on Xbox One. Also, this weekend when I put my disc in I needed to update the game since I haven't played since the latest update was released. Upon putting the disc in, my Xbox One just loaded the game. I never got an update
or anything. So, I chatted with someone who works for MS about what was happening and they told me to re-install the game. I did. As soon as I loaded the game it still wasn't showing up. I ejected the disc, put it back in and bam, it wanted to install
the update. I did. When I loaded up the game it automatically skipped the normal introduction to the game, and loaded the last level I played in the single player campaign. I thought that was weird so I just quit the game, reloaded it and everything loaded
up fine. It loaded single player at least one more time without playing the traditional open. Also, for some odd reason when I select multiplayer and choose to play on Xbox Live it never loads MP first try. I usually get some error about how CoD Ghosts
servers are offline currently. I reselect MP and finally it will grab my account info and let me play MP. Is anyone else experiencing these issues?

Single player campaign - COD Ghosts or Battlefield 4?

Normally I can't stand COD. I've got both Ghosts and BF4. I find BF4 far superior (when it works) online. The BF4 campaign is (IMO) awful but the COD Ghosts campaign is pretty good this time around actually.

 

Are Your Launch Games Decided Yet?

Mine has been loading to the campaign and I have to listen to Logan talk for 20 seconds and then hit "save and quit" and then go to MP. This is all since the last update. I have re-installed it several times but it just seems to insist on going to the SP
campaign first. Pain in the *** and I don't know how to fix it.

 

Yeah. I hit Save and Quit too. I agree. Ever since the last update it has been doing that.

 

Same here as well, It's annoying and there's no choice to default to Multiplayer.

 

Even without the choice to default to MP, it shouldn't automatically load into SP without going through the title screen and stuff. That is what mine is doing sometimes. I will load the disc and before the title screen can even start the game shows "Reading
Save Device" and then auto loads the last mission I was playing. Doesn't let me have my main menu.

 

I just chatted with someone from MS about what is happening to us in the game. The person that I talked to told me this is a known issue and they are working with Activision to resolve the issues. They said it has something to do with Activision's servers.
So, hopefully their will be a "Hot fix" for this soon.
