COD Ghosts Friends can't join lobby

Since I have got the Xbox One and the One version of Ghosts no one can join my lobby. They can join my party but NONE I REPEAT NONE of my friends can join my lobby. Also when I am in a lobby with friends and someone makes me party leader people one by one
begin to get kicked from the lobby. Being party leader has never been an issue for me on any of the other CODS nor was it an issue on Ghosts for the 360, only for the One. Anyone have an answer or maybe something in my settings that could be wrong?

hello.

I can't seem to join my friends lobby on call if duty ghosts nor can they join mine at all. We can join game while in play but it puts us all on different teams, this is the only game with the problem as infinite warfare is automatically fine. Our natype
is open and my firewall on my router is of but it still don't work. Can anyone tell me why and how to solve it please?

make sure the NAT PORT is open in your rooter

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP et TCP)

Port 53 (UDP et TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port 4500 (UDP)

 

Here's the thing. I tested out hard-lining to my modem and I could host lobbies. It does seem to be my router. Any links on how to make the changes you suggested

if you NAT is strict .... it can be the issue.

try it it should work properly

 

my nat is always open, and im having the same issue but then some. i send out invites and some can join others cant or it takes a long time to join. another issue is that some times it mutes all friends in party\lobby then i unmute them only for them to
be muted in the game. this is very frustrating and hope there is a xbox one update or cod update to resolve this asap.

another question - my favorite thing about playing call of duty online was to have banter with random people and now it seems no one talks, this xbox one has so far been very unsocial, any input from fellow users would be great!

 

One of you or our friends does not have an open NAT-that is the problem.

Have your friends run the network tests on Settings>Network. Ask the to pat attention to the NAT type box in the middle.

 

The problem is your NAT TYPE. When I'm over at my father's apartment whom has a STRICT NAT, I always have a problem with hosting and connecting to lobbies. When I'm at my mother's whom has a an OPEN NAT, I have no problem whatsover. The only hope for both
of us would be to wait till the massive update on the Xbox One and hopefully they fix this problem with connection issues. Regardless, a STRICT NAT shouldn't determine who you can and can't connect with.

 

I want to thank everyone for their answers. I think I have figured it out. It's my router. When I hardline into my modem I can host, only when i'm using my router do I have the problem. So the question is.... Do I need a new router?

 

first try to update the firmware if it's not resolving your issue BUY a new one !!!

 

@ Cob Web Bobbler- Do not buy a new router as suggested by the poster above yet. Can you log into your router access page and make sure UpNP is enabled? if not can you forward the ports for Xbox Live? Lastly if your router has a DMZ zone try that.

If you go to www.portforward.com they will guide you with exact instructions for your router make and model and walk you through the process.
