COD ghosts for xbox one/360 cant get for xbox one

Hello, I recently bought the Call of duty Ghosts (not gold edition) for xbox 360 and xbox one. It is not a game disc, but a code and using logic i redeemed it on my xbox one because that IS what the instructions said. So i redeemed it, and i checked in "My
games & Apps" but the game was nowhere to be found. I looked up the game in the store and didn't find it there, so i tried redeeming the code again and it said that it was indeed already redeemed. I log onto my xbox account on my pc and check my games, sure
enough there is the game, but listed as a xbox 360 game?! I click on it but it just shows the description of the game, and i go to the store, and the game is not $0.00 like it should be, it's $29.99. I am confused, is this false advertising? I clearly redeemed
the code on an xbox ONE, and shouldn't the instructions at least have explained better. The game is at waste because i do not have an xbox 360, and i obviously cant use it for my xbox one. Please, if you know how to switch the game to xbox one, please tell
me, and what number should i call for help?

Just because I'm sure someone is going to see this and ask, no you can't trade in a game and get a completely different one for $10. Ex: You cant trade in 360 BF4 for Xbox One CoD Ghosts.

Im trying to get the above cheap for my xbox one. Ive been offered a 360 ghosts hardened edition with codes for £25 will the codes work on my xbox one?

I'm sorry to see any issues with a code redemption! Call of Duty Ghosts was released on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, however they are not cross-platform or the same game. You are able to redeem any type of code on any platform with us; PC, Xbox One, Xbox
360, and our Xbox apps on mobile devices. Where the game downloads depends on what type of game it is (PC, Xbox One, or Xbox 360).

It sounds like the code you received from your retailer was for the Xbox 360 version of the game. If they are advertising the game code for both consoles, you will need to work with them to change their site to properly reflect what the code was for, and
see if you can get a replacement.
