COD Ghosts Digital Code

Ok so i bought cod ghosts for the 360 on release day, unfortunately the disc got scratched from moving the xbox while playing, now i have the xbox one and want to get ghosts, but the thing is that i read online that to be able to get the xbox one version,
i had to take it back to where i bought it and give them the 360 version to get the ONE verision but i cant since it was scratched, now what i want to ask is what other options do i have to be able to play ghosts on the xbox one, can i get a digital code?
because i read that you have to use the last gen disc and play on the next gen as long as you have the digital code and game installed, if someone can please help me that would be great!

There was a offer ongoing from many shops that you can upgrade your game for 9,99$ from Xbox360 to Xbox One. You would need to bring them the disc. However almost every shop ended this offer 31.12.2013. So there is no other way than purchasing the game again
for Xbox One if you want to play it.

I discovered what is was. They sent me a Ps3 code. Which is 12 digits.

The code everyone keeps sending me to on CoD website is 13 which I already used to download the soundtrack.

So now I have a ps3 CoD Ghost Code...and a xb version of the game.
