COD Ghost unrecognized disc only on my super slim xbox

Hi,

Recently bought a new COD Ghost game which has no scratches on it and for some reason I keep getting the 'recognized disc' error on my super slim Xbox. However the game is recognize on my normal standard Xbox. Other games work on super slim xbox so its not
the disc drive.

Has anyone come across this problem?

Unrecognized disc error ONLY with Ghost Recon Future Soldier.

Hi - i bought Ghost Recon Future soldier today from Gamestation, brand new in the plastic wrapping. When i put it my Xbox 250Gb slim it comes up with 'Unrecognized Disc' but it will play fine in my son's old Elite model - all other games play fine on mine
and it's the only disc giving this error, has anyone else had this problem and, if so, how did you resolve it?. I've followed the Xbox support forums remedy for this error but i still get it, any help appreciated.

 

Disc unreadable error 03-57-00

I've been having a bit of trouble with my Xbox 360 slim console lately playing one individual game. I have three other Xbox 360 consoles that I've tried this game on and it loads perfectly fine, but my slim tends to give me a disc unrecognized error and
gives me a 03-57-00 status code. I don't understand why only my slim does this to my GTA game. My slim reads every other game but GTA properly. In order to get GTA to work properly on my slim console, I need to clean it a bit and keep ejecting and closing
the disc tray until it recognizes it.

Any other solution other then sending it into MS?

 

i have had same problem. My 360-s will recognize the online disc for ghosts but not the campaign disk. I had same problem with GTAV, and Assasins creed. All same issue. Could read online disk no prob, just not the campaign disks. Microsoft says my optical
drive is going bad. what a bunch of bull. going back to PS.

 

It is the optical drive going bad. The laser's wearing out and having difficulty reading the higher compression format on those discs.
