COD Ghost Next Gen Upgrade ( or any next gen upgrade)

Just wondering if anyone else has been inquiring about purchasing this upgrade for there version of COD Ghost on the xbox 360 to the Xbox One.

I had a chat with a support rep and they told me that this upgrade is only good for the game and not the season pass that we have already purchased on our older console. I just think its a little ridiculous we are expected t pay FULL PRICE for a season pass
that has been ported over to another console with minimal work involved.

Am I the only one who thinks Microsoft should release $9.99(game only)-$19.99(game and season pass) upgrades for any game we have previously purchased on our older consoles that are now on the next gen consoles. I understand games are not backwards compatible
and im fine with that, but there should be some sort of upgrade system. I think its a tad ridiculous to spend another $59.99 or $69.99 on a game that has been out for a year or was made for the last gen systems, and the only way to play that game on the new
console we just spend $400 on is to RE-BUY it on the new one.

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this !!!

They did do an offer at launch if you purchased the Season Pass from 360, you'd get the One version for free also. That was until March of last year. I do agree that pricing for older games (DLC and all) should be cheaper as they age instead of staying the
standard $15.

 

Season Pass prices typically don't change, the game price does drop significantly after awhile. At least CoD offered the discounted price. Grand Theft Auto is still roughly $60

 

Why I don't bother with CoD dlc anymore unless the game is super duper amazing. The Black Ops games for me were perfect.

As for upgrading for Ghosts on Xbone? Don't do it op. I rented it and it's slowly dying. Everyone plays AW or a newer game now. You won't be able to find matches with your season pass so if I were you, I'd save your money and completely scrap Ghosts. It's
the worst CoD game out there anyway.

 

I have to disagree, i actually had alot of fun playing ghost, i liked it better than AW (not saying much), on the fact alone that the lag compensation in this game is horrible, gets very annoying to watch your bullets go though someone and then watch the
killcam and you dont even shoot a bullet ( not my connection, crazy fast internet and single digit ping) was the only reason i even wanted to go back to ghost. But i definitely wont waste the money on it if no one is playing it anymore. Thanks for the tip

They really need to bring back a remastered version of COD 4 and MW2, i loved those games more than any other cod!!!
