Cod games kicking me out of Xbox live

Just bought av and it keeps kicking me out of live so i said screw it I'll play bo2 and yet again it kicks me out WTF!

Hey! I'm sorry to hear you are having problems with Xbox live.

Firstly, have you ran a Network Status check from system settings to check that things are normal?

You could also try resetting your router, and also
clearing your system cache. If this fails then try re-downloading your profile to your console.

No way to fix it as of yet. Its pretty much unplayable. Spend an hour of time on the game and maybe get to play one round all the way thru. The rest of the time you either cant get in a lobby, or you get in a lobby only to be shuffled to a lobby
by yourself, then told the call of duty servers are down (which is a lie), or lose connection to the in game xbox live (but not lose connection to the overall xbox live).... its horrible.

 

I can not tell you how many countless hours, since this AW game came out, where I have spent more time forwarding ports. I see no difference. It's only with COD games that this happens to me. I've cleared my cache, I've done everything the support has
offered for answers. I don't know what to do. I can play, seemingly without problems, between the hours of 9AM-3PM Central time, US. After 3PM I'm lucky if I can play 3 minutes of a match before I get kicked off Xbox Live, or it tells me my sign in status
has changed, or I've exceeded my image limit, or there is no connection between host server, or loss of signal between Xbox live servers and the game. It's better than Ghosts, but it definitely isn't worth the $60 bucks I dropped to only play the campaign,
which I beat in a couple of hours on veteran.

I've not had any problems on any other game, (COD games included).... this one is unplayable. no amount of port forwarding, DMZ'ing, reseting modem/router, trying wired and wireless, playing direct with NO router, trying different modem, or standing on
one foot while rubbing tummy and head in different circling patterns. I'm not usually a complainer and am usually able to find a solution for anything electronic/computer related.... but this game is just broken. And i see the same consensus all over
the boards.

fixed mine... got rid of my Comcast Technicolor 8305 modem/router and bought my own modem and router... problem solved. Not sure if you have the same modem/gateway... but it appears there are issues with that on comcast and xbox

I have comcast as well, not sure what modem router. the one that is like 10 inches high, and is the modem and router combo with wifi, etc... from Comcast

 

I have been having this issue for about a month as well. HOWEVER.... I HAVE FOUND THE FIX!!! After searching for 2 weeks now all over the internet I have found it here.

"This is a widely know issue with the Technicolor modem. Unfortunately it is a technical limitation of the hardware itself, and Microsoft cannot do anything about it. Please contact the manufacturer about the issue to see if there is any sort of timeline
for a fix. You can also request a new XB3 Wireless Gateway from Comcast that is the updated version of your current device that does NOT have this problem."
