Cod cold war update issue

Hello, i seen there was an update for cod cold war it was 15 gb but when i tried to load up youtube it said “youtube took too long to start” and i check the update it hasn’t done a thing no download speed no percentages, i couldn’t load anything not even my profile. This has happend 3 other times trying to update cold war and each time i restart my sh*t box and everything works but theres a catch i now have to download the entire game and modes again 115 gb. Why hasn’t this been fixed yet it’s been 4 months and me redownloading the game 3 times 115 gb each time which equates to $23 each download based on my isp’s 0.20 cent per 1 gb. Really annoying to download the entire game every time there is an update. If anyone can help fix this that would kkkool.

I believe your console might need either a network reset or just a system refresh. I would like you to go through the following steps to clear the Mac address and then perform a quick power cycle on your console:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

Another thing you should check is your NAT type. I would like you to check your NAT type if open because that could sometimes interfere. to check for the NAT type you can follow the steps below:

Settings > Network Settings > NAT type => It should be open.

If the NAT type is not open, you will need to open some ports with your internet provider. These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work: Port 88 (UDP) Port 3074 (UDP and TCP) Port 53 (UDP and TCP) Port 80 (TCP) Port 500 (UDP) Port 3544 (UDP) Port 4500 (UDP).

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

It’s not an internet connection issue. Other games and updates install just fine. I have uninstalled and tried to reinstall COD: Black Ops Cold War from my library and it says it is corrupt.

Hi!

Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing issues playing CoD: Cold War.

Would you mind giving these a try? If possible, please try them in this specific order.

- Eject your disc.
- Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.
- Unplug your console for 5 minutes.
- Turn your console on
- Insert your disc.
- Try launching the game.

- Launch the Cold War.
- Without quitting the game, go to My Games & Apps > CoD: Cold War > Manage Game & add-ons > Saved data > Reserved Space > Delete Reserved Space.
- Try launching the game again

- Go to Settings > System > Updates, and check if there are any pending updates for your console.
- Go to My Games & Apps > CoD: Cold War > Manage Game & add-ons > Updates. If there are any pending updates for the game, apply them.
- Go to My Games & Apps > CoD: Cold War > Manage Game & add-ons > Manage installation and check if all available content packs are installed.

* If you have any bonus content packs for DLC content like in-game cosmetics or currency, please uninstall them temporarily so only the base game and the content packs are installed.
- Restart your console and launch the game again.
