    CoD Cold War says I have to buy it after latest update


    I purchased the digital copy of CoD Cold War for Christmas. Yesterday (Feb 24, 2021), there was a 15GB update and when I try to play the game now, it says I have to sign in with the account that purchased the game, which I am. I've read several articles about uninstalling Content Packs and reinstalling them, but after uninstalling them, I don't see them to reinstall. What's going on? How do I get back to being able to play the game?

    I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

    After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

    First, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2-3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

    If the issue persists, please select System > Settings > General > Network setting > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address: clear

    Then, please select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

    If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps

    You can try to buy the CD, unless you have a Xbox Series S. I'm not sure, because I don't have CoD: Cold War, but it should work.
