COD Cold War - Says I dont own the game when I do

Hi,

I am sorry that you are facing this issue and i would like to help you out of it!

I have found this:

1. Go to your library and hover over game
   
2. Click on see game in store. (pressing the start button or w/e it's called)
   
3. Click on manage (you own this)
   
4. From there you'll see 0 out of XX not installed
   
5. Either manually select all of them or just click select all
   
6. Then install
   
7. Open game back up.
   

Keeping it simple you're just reinstalling the game without uninstalling it technically. Hopefully that helps.

Are you able to see this transaction with order status completed?
If that's the case, please do this in your Xbox:

First uninstall the game, then:
1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

After that, try to remove and re-add your profile on the console.

Also disconnect your router from power for about 3 minutes. Then connect it again an when everything is working, try again

I have the same issue. I preordered Cold War in September and played the Beta. I’ve been playing since the game came out and randomly last night, it says i cant play because i dont have the game. I then go to microsoft store and it says i already own the
game and “launch game”. When i click that it still says i cant play because i dont own it. Pretty annoying

First, check the status of the game on your account, please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders, and make sure that it is stated as "completed". Once confirmed kindly remove and re-add your account by following the steps below:

" REMOVE ACCOUNT​​​

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. ​​​

3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. ​​​

4. When you're finished, select Close. ​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new. ​​​

3. Enter the Email address and the password.​​​

4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept. ​​​

5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console.​​​"

Were you able to check your order history and confirmed that it is showing as "completed"?
