COD code started working at midnight. They shipped us boxes with bad codes? You report!

I suspect that all of the COD bundle boxes were designed to have games work on November 4th, and the codes were never going to work for anyone on the 3rd. If your code started working around midnight EST or midnight in your time zone please report it below.

X-Box Repair Procedure.

Hi,

My X-Box is with Microsofts repair centre.

How will they advise me what day my 'repaired' x-box is going to be shipped back to me ?

Do they include a report with the console stating what type of repair was carried out ?

I've had exactly the same experience with the code as nullnvoids and there was nothing wrong with the way I entered the code. Clearly the games were shipped with the same code in multiple boxes as I've seen this same complaint in many threads.

 

Working now for me too. I want some compensation.

 

Yep looks like it worked fine this time. I guess those that bought the CoD AW Bundle were not given the Day Zero Edition.

 

I demand FREE SEASON PASS for my pain and suffering today. I expect everyone else to demand at least at much! Lets take it to Activision and Microsoft! It is a very reasonable request considering this bundle was advertised as Day Zero on every retailers
site.

 

That's what I expected to hear. They really f'd us over.

For several weeks now I was hit with advertising from Activision to take the day off, have an alibi, stock up on relationship points in advance for a massive playing session. I was able to go to best buy at midnight on the 3rd only to have the code start
working at midnight on the 4th. The alibi was wasted, I'll get less time to play tomorrow, I had the day off to play today... and Microsoft seems to have no plans to make us feel better about a wasted day.

Microsoft is currently worth about 388 billion dollars, I lost $100 not going to work today... free map pack downloads or $50 credit in xbox points would make me happy. I'll bet I don't see a thing.

What a massive letdown from Microsoft, I had a relatively positive view of them before this.

I just don't get why they couldn't have just been honest (I know totally crazy concept) and say that this is what the issue was. Clearly they had to have figured it out pretty early on, what the issue with the bundle/code was. Bc either way they are going
to have *** off gamers...now they just have *** off gamers that wasted a day essentially memorizing a 25 character key bc they were trying to redeem every 30 mins. What a kerfuffle.

been downloading since 4 this afternoon its going on 1 am now and still aint reached 50% yet im seriously P.O'd

 

I could not download until after 12:00am Eastern time. I called Xbox support and specifically asked if this was a wrong code in my bundle issue and the rep said it was not and they were working to fix the issue as soon as possible. I think they knew wrong
codes were put into these and are lying to just buy them time until the 4th hit. I am no legal attorney, but think that this could be a possible legal issue for Microsoft unless they do something to compensate for their mistake.

 

My brother had made his pre-order Console bundle directly from MS. His code worked early in the day but by the time he left for work late evening only had 30% downloaded. Me mine was thru Gamestop, code did not work until after midnight for me. Day Zero
for Zero accomplished beyond another screw job from the game companies.
