COD: BO3 Campaign - Realistic COMPLETED

First of all, this is not a post that slanders the game. Just my opinion on the campaign portion of it in single player mode.

I just completed the campaign on "Realistic" difficulty and it was by far more difficult than any other game on the highest/hardest setting.

First of all, as stated in this article (Call of Duty: Black Ops III's "Realistic" Difficulty Is One Shot and You're Dead)
it's one shot headshot kills 95% of the time. hardly any body shots, it's either you fire first, or your dead.

Second, I feel they don't explain certain perks as much as they should. For instance, I didn't realize you were able to change the perks for "boosting", "ammo/gun pickups", etc. I just thought it was "realistic" and therefore, didn't have
certain abilities. Now, if you're in the safe house and decide to change your load out, it will be there, but it's something I glanced over every time I went into my custom classes (which was only about 5 times as I didn't feel the need to change my weapons
after building them up). Another issue was the fact that once you reach level 20, I feel like there was no indicator that you can actually switch between your "cyber core abilities". So, as i'm literally on the last level I thought "why is this so difficult,
I must be doing something wrong..." so I you tubed it and found others had the same issue.

Lastly. the campaign was extremely difficult to follow. With all the people turning on you and then some coming back to your aid, just didn't make sense to me. I know what happened after reading each log and story portion, just seemed poorly
presented.

Solution: Get a teammate!!!
Get to know every perk you can set. Especially the perks that allow you to be revived even when you don't have a partner playing with you. Somehow, the sniper was the best solution throughout most of the campaign. Camping, core ability, camping, core ability.
I must have logged close to 10 hours on the campaign trying to beat it without useful perks. At level 20, when pressing DOWN on the D-pad, you can cycle through your abilities.

All in all, it seems like it's more fantasy at this point with the series (not that it was all realistic). From Modern Warfare 1 to ghosts, the campaigns were fun with some difficult moments that a few deaths would solve. Now, there's people that literally
"spawn" or appear out of nowhere (literally). I feel like they're out of options with improvements. Hopefully, MW1 remastered will be a new beginning with the series (although, it will likely only stay as a remastered edition - new world at war maybe?" . The
multiplayer is slightly different, I still can't get the jist of jetpacking and killing at the same time, but it's actually much easier killing people online than on campaign.
