COD Black OPS compatibiliity

Zero’s right, most of the time it’s a damaged disc. Make sure your system is connected to the internet as well!

Hopefully it’s one of those two things and you’ll be playing Black Ops in no time!

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue.

If your disc is alright, like free from scratches/smudges, this issue could be from your console needing a recent update or your last one perhaps getting interrupted at some point. I would suggest a soft factory reset.
It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games and apps.

Please make sure the disc is not damaged. That is often the most common issue with old 360 games.

First let's make sure that it isn't your disc drive itself. Try inserting another game that hasn't been installed yet. If it is still giving you the error. Try giving your console a power cycle (after you make sure your disc is clean with no abrasions
