CoD:AW Xbox One | Installation/Queued Problem

Hello fellows, and CoD mates

I got my copy of CoD:AW today *yay* but (and here is the key point) there is a nerve wreaking bug

or.."thing" with the Installation going on. I simply cant install this game! It always goes like this :

- Game goes in, starts up, then comes the installation window

- 5 Seconds later it goes queued for like.. 10 seconds

- Bam it goes install again, rinse and repeat..for all eternaty u_u

I tried every clever move i know like : changing the external HD, changing to offline, changing

to wired, tried to wait a few hours..

I dont know what to do anymore >_< It is really great to have it here, but extrem

frustrating to fail at the installation! ._. (help)

Xbox one games will not install, even when offline.

I'm having the same problem but there are several queued installations started due to trying to figure everything out. How do I get rid of them all? I've tried doing the above steps and it only deleted one queued installation. Ideas? I'm getting super frustrated...

 

Alien: Isolation Season Pass troubles

I had purchased the season pass on my Xbox One and every time I try to install it goes from installing, to queued, to installing, then back to queued. Then installation stops and I get error code 0x80072ee6

 

Sorry for double post !! But i got the solution.

I always did something wrong - i should have done first - Offline - Uninstall and THEN

do the Installation again. Actualy the day one patch is the hindrance, not the game not

anything. Therefore install this game in offline mode.. and delete all the rest Installation beforehand.

I had to do the same. The install paused and I deleted it and restarted. It is taking ABSOLUTELY ages to install though. I am playing the campaign and beating the levels faster than it can install. I end up waiting between levels.

Not sure if you are experiencing the same.

 

This Xbox One install strategy is a complete joke by the way. Why on earth would it default to downloading the files from the internet when I have the disc in the tray?

Everyone needs to make sure that they are disconnected from Live BEFORE they install this game as it is in excess of 40GB and it thinks that it is a good idea to download the files instead of copying from the disc. Absolutely bonkers!

I have 150mb connection and trust me, it is going to take people half a day and on a lesser connection, good luck!

I gave up at 64%, deleted the install, went offline and it took 45 minutes from there. It took 4 hours to get to 64% via downloading on my Virgin fibre optic.

Take the other guys advice and stay offline before you put the disc in and let it run its course. After install it has a 250mb update but that takes about one minute.

The game doesn't feel like a COD game by the way. You can tell another developer has done it. I'll be doing the campaign, selling it and going back to Destiny which handles miles better in terms of gunplay.

 

Oh,That's disapointing.Some YouTubers have given good reviews but i would guess they are maybe being paid to give them.Guess i'll find out soon enough.Cheers for the honest opinions though.

 

Having same issue here are its really annoying me! Just going around in circles... Managed to go offline and get it working tho so can confirm this works! A WHOLE HOUR WASTED!

 

Preordered on the Xbox One.

Upon launch, game decided to redownload the game again.

I just completed second or third SP level, getting message

"Installing content. Please wait." despite my download saying it's at 100% and "Ready To Start.".

 

I've got the downloadable version in xbox store... I downloaded the game before hand and now it is doing an update and it is taking forever

Any solutions?

 

^Same for me i have Downloaded the digital version i completely installed it before it was released and now its updating??? but it looks like its updating the entire game 40GB!! im not sure what to do..

 

mavies where do you live? I am in the US, downloaded the Day Zero from Live Store, about 3 weeks ago, when I click on it, it says 'play it on 11/3'.

 

I am in the uk it is 2:12 am and it simply says i am too early... wtf is this? the game is 2 hours late more like no idea what to do it says "just getting your game ready we need to do install of 1GB but simply just says sorry too early...
