    CoD: AW Xbox One Install issue


    So it seems some people have had similar problems, but now my copy has decided to be extra spiteful.

    I purchased the disc copy of the game and was having the Installing/Queued loop problem which I've seen other people mentioning. I cancelled the install, took the console offline and did a hard reset. Rebooted and got the install working. Went and played
    some Single player missions while the install progressed and then when it had made it to 100% went to play some multiplayer.

    Apart from the usual stupid Xbox one asking who was playing despite already being logged in, it then did the usual 'CoD needs an update' and booted me to the black screen, where it decided to go back to the original Installing/Queued loop and the dashboard
    icon to select the game went to a black square.

    I cancelled the update, couldn't get it to work so rebooted the console again only the find NONE of the 46GB install already completed from the disc previously seems to be recognised and it now wants to start all over again.

    Seriously WTF

    Is there a way to make sure the console doesn't wipe the game whenever it tried to do this 250mb update? Or shall i just cut my losses and ditch whats already looking to be a waste of a purchase and return it.

    Issues installing COD AW on Xbox one?

    I had read about that happening earlier so when I went to install Advance Warfare I held off on the update until after the game was finished installing and didn't have a problem.

    I took my first copy back because the store told me maybe a bum copy. so back with second same freakin issue!! still cant play, that's cool.

    Pre ordered the digital version Thursday...was downloaded Thursday. Literally went on at 12:01...verified my dl and I played for 2 hours.
