COD AW problems

When the zombie pack first came out, we didn't want to buy it, but that seemed to mean we couldn't play the game at all. A compatibility pack was released, we tried to download it, but it won't, it just stops. I was told by someone on.community chat to be
patient, it'll work eventually. Days later, still no download. Today I tried online chat to Microsoft, hah, what a joke. Took my details, said he'd help me, I waited 20 minutes for him to type a reply then I got disconnected. So I started again, she checked
my details, then she disappeared, and again I got cut off. But this has meant my issue with COD, is still unresolved. Please can anyone tell me how I can fix this, so that the game I paid for, can be played again?

i recently Updated cod aw and now when I try to play online, it doesn't load any matches. Anyone else experiencing this?

 

I don't know if it will help in this specific case, but in general when you are having download issues, deleting the partial failed download, clearing your cache, and restarting the download will help. To delete the download, go to Settings>System>Memory>choose
your storage device>find the game and delete the item. To clear the cache, go to Settings>System>Memory, press Y, Clear System Cache, Yes. A reboot of the system probably wouldn't hurt after this step either. Then try downloading the item again.

I will give that a try thank you. Just one thing, will a reboot affect downloaded games?

 

No it shouldn't. All you are doing is turning off the console and turning it back on like you normally would, so nothing should be affected.

Please reply if your next attempt works. If not, while it looks like you've had horrible luck with it, your best course of action may be to contact support at
support.xbox.com/contact-us. Maybe try a phone option if you can. While looking for similar people with this same issue, I came across a forum post that said once your download starts to not try
to do anything else on your console. Just let it download and nothing else.
