Cod AW cross platform incentive deal.

Activision are giving u the op to buy cod aw for xbox 360 and get free for xbox one. Problem is it has to be a digital copy and I cannot pre own or find a release date for the 360 digital version. It is cross plat on psn as in if u buy for ps4 u can still
dl for ps3.

Does anyone know what is going on here? Will we be able to get day one version for xbox 360 digitally?

Cross platform Xbox one and PC

They don't want cross platform play because it would give people less incentive to get an xbone.

There is no reward and no incentive for developers to promote, develop for, or invest in cross-platform gameplay, in general.

You can upgrade through digital copys only as it works by game licenses example xbox 360 to xbox one or ps3 to ps4 on the other point it dont work the other way round because that would be known as downgrading. It will not work if you buy it on xbox one
first. Im currently in the process of this but the content on the xbox one to upgrade has a fault on it in which it shows as unavailable when trying to upgrade through marketplace. Activision have ensured me that they are working hard on this issue and it
will be available as soon as possible. This scheme has been successful on destiny and infact have purchased ghosts last year through this offer.. I hope this helps
