COD AW Crashes to home after completing a multiplayer match.

This is a weird one.

Every time I finish a multiplayer match it goes straight to home and the game restarts.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, powering the Xbox on and off after doing so and still nothing.

Has anyone had this problem?

Crash to Home screen after completing first mission

Immediately after killing the Elites that show up at the end of the first mission, the game crashed back to the Home screen. Haven't played it since so I'm not sure if it was just a one-time deal.



For those of you who've played more of the game - any issues with crashing?

 

Games Freeze, But Not System?

I am having the same issues with the xbox one cod aw. I freeze at some point in every multi-player match. It is just an in game freeze as it sends me to the console home. This only happens on AW.

 

Yes, I am aswell. It is very inconvenient

 

I have this problem if my buddy plays split screen with me or my boyfriend. Whose ever tv he shares with, after every match it will dashboard. He has to share xboxlive with us since he doesn't have any.

 

Yeah I'm still having this problem, is there any mods here that can shed some light on this issue? Are they aware of it?

Sorry to hear about the crashing issue, I can definitely understand how frustrating that could be. I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get this issue sorted.

Please give the following steps a try:

• First, start by uninstalling Call of Duty: Advance Warfare.
  
• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
  
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
• Power on your console and navigate to My Games & Apps.
• Select Games and then scroll to the right and select Call of Duty under the Ready to Install section.
  
• Select install and wait until the game is fully installed before playing again.
  
• Once Call of Duty is fully installed, try playing a muliplayer match to see if the issue continues.
  

Give the suggested steps a try and let us know how it goes!

 

Quimby - Is that the only solution Xbox support can offer? A generic response. I have tried all this, is there anything else you can say about the issue? Is there an update coming out? Are they even aware of the issue? Is anyone working on it?

 

I have this issue too. Incredibly annoying. Crashes at the end of every multiplayer game....

• First, remove your profile from your Xbox One console.
  
• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Unplug the power cord of your router, modem or gateway.
• Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console, router, modem or gateway.
• Power on your console and add your profile to your Xbox One console.
  
• Try playing a multiplayer match to see you continue to experience crashing after a multiplayer match.
