Personally, I've found the last two Treyarch releases to be more ambitious and balanced. Haven't played very much of the last two IW/Sledgehammer releases though, but what I got from Ghosts was slightly better than my MW3 experience.

World at War, if not a carbon-copy of CoD4 (thanks, Activision) was a brilliant game and had the Treyarch touch: some big maps, and maps with tanks, zombies. Despite its issues, it was great.

Black Ops was the 2nd best after CoD4 IMO. Perfect blend of an improved customization system and modern warfare feel.

Blops 2 was just too much, too arena-styled, campaign was...poorly executed for what they were trying to do.

I'll give the next Treyarch game a chance. They need to bring the game into the next-gen properly though. Big changes to
compete with Battlefield's graphical fidelity, destruction and scale.

Well I got the Day 1 Fifa 2014 bundle in Australia, though I never got the Fifa 2014 code. The console cost more in the UK and Aus so I guess it was a teaser, Ummmm, where's my Fifa 2014 btw?

Game doesn't snap to target anyway, thankfully. I think Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel takes the cake for that one. If Ghosts has less autoaim on the One that's fine by me, I'm extremely keen.

 

Did anyone see woods voice actor leak bo3 ? If so could you post what he said?

 

I really don't care what they do for the next game. It's going to be the same game we get every year, just different maps and some tweaks here and there. And I can see Blops 3 happening, yet I doubt I'll be getting it.

 

A continuation of the Zombies storyline, please.

OP, i'm getting tired of the future themes as well. We definately need a different era now. Imho Modern Warfare, World at War and Blackops era's Balanced out so well last gen. The gore was quite genuine and made a positive impact on the Campaigns where you
feel like there's nowhere to run, or Revenge

As for next/current Gen, we can only hope for a game changer like Modern Warfare was for the Cod series last gen.

 

I hope zombies gets continued as well.

also I want the campaign set in the black ops universe.

 

A cod set during the Korean War. Call of Duty forgotten war.

 

I would like to see a Call of Duty where the Americans really do lose.

[/quote]After MW2 a majority of the talent in the studio (its founders, Zampella and West) left to form Respawn, who are developing Titanfall.

Unless they bring it back the the WWII roots like WaW then I could really care less, and I highly doubt that'll happen.

The only reason I bought Ghosts was because I wanted another game on X1 lol..

 

Unless it has Knife Battle Mode then I don't care.
