Coaxial Connectors are used in RF.

I read an electronic magazine in which there is a report on coaxial connectors used in RF. After reading, I became interested in
coaxial connectors in RF. So I searched some related materials and information about this topic from google. Today I come to this forum to turn to you to discuss my understandings
    are appropriate.

    Here are my personal understandings:

RF coaxial connectors (hereinafter referred to as RF connectors) are generally considered to be mounted on a cable or mounted on the instrument as an element that is electrically connected or separated as a transmission line. It belongs to the mechanical
and electrical integration products. Simply speaking it mainly acts as a bridge.

Compared with other electronic components, RF connector development history is shorter. The UHF connector that appeared in 1930 was the first RF connector. During the Second World War, due to the urgent need of war, with the development of radar, radio and
microwave communications, produced N, C, BNC, TNC, and other medium-sized series, 1958 appeared after SMA, SMB, **** and other small products , 1964 developed the US military standard MIL-C-39012 "RF coaxial connector general specification", since then, RF
connector began to standardization, serialization, general direction.

In more than sixty years, through the joint efforts of national experts, RF connector to form an independent and complete professional system, as an important part of the connector family. Is a coherent transmission system indispensable key components. The
United States, Britain, France and other countries of the RF connector development technology in a leading position, its design, production, testing, use of technology has been supporting Jackie Chan, tends to improve, not only formed a complete standard system,
and raw materials, , Assembly tools, etc. have also been standardized, and specialized production scale.

The development trend for coaxial connectors

    1. Miniaturization

With the miniaturization of the whole system, RF connector volume smaller and smaller, such as SSMB, MMCX series, the volume is very small.

    2. High frequency

US HP as early as a few years ago has been launched to the frequency of 110GHz RF connector. Domestic general product frequency does not exceed 40GHz. Soft cable use frequency does not exceed 10GHz, semi-rigid cable does not exceed 20GHz.

    3. Multi-function

In addition to the role of the bridge, both processing signal functions, such as filtering, phase modulation, mixing, attenuation, detection, limiting and so on.

    4. Low standing wave, low loss

Meet the needs of weapon systems and precision measurements.

    5. Large capacity, high power

Mainly adapt to the development needs of information superhighway.

Ps: Excuse me if I was wrong in words or expressions as I am a green hand in the field of coaxial connectors. I need continual learnings.

What is your idea ? Do you agree with my ideas ? Any of your ideas would be highly appreciated.

May someone would like to help ?

    thanks in advance

    :)

    Side device connection

I have an external sound card M-Audio Fast Track Pro that supports S/PDIF standard, but connectors on the sound card are two coaxial RCA (out/in). Xbox One supports S/PDIF standard too, but connector on the console is Toslink. Can I connect this two devices
and how I can do it?

Is this ok about my new xbox 360?

as long as your TV has at least composite video inputs (yellow for video, red/white for audio) you should be fine but if not you can get an RF unit that can plug into the coaxial cable input on your TV that has the AV jacks for your 360 to plug into.

    Xbox live isn't working

I had a similar problem with connecting with Live. If there's too low of a signal through the E-cord connections (even though they're still connected) your connection will drop or flap as they call it. Is your i-net from dsl or cable. If it's cable, check
your wall plate where the coaxial connects to (before all of the wires/routers/modems ect). Unscrew the coaxial, remove the plate, unscrew the rear coaxial and hold it to the light - if there's a clear circle of light, it needs replacement. You should see
copper prongs to bridge the connection. If it's dsl, ensure that all connections are secure and 90 degrees from their connection point. MAKE SURE that all connectors 'click' when you insert them, if they won't then you may need new cables.

Xbox controllers don't connect and console led isn't turned on

No image, although I know it's connected because when it's off the screen is blue when it's on the screen goes black

The power connector is yellow when off, green when on

I am most likely just ordering a. New rf module and gonna see where that takes me.

Wrapping my brain around the capabilities.

What i am having issue wrapping my brain around is how the Xbox One will control the cable box..

Or for that matter how it will be able to do the same thing with over the air broadcasts like was said in the reveal.

There is no coaxial connector on the rear of the Xbox One.

Xbox one to a VGA monitor?

@IceStorm III : Not sure what you are talking about .. any HDMI/DVI converter will convert an HDMI signal to DVI and I have yet to see one that is powered. I use them all the time on various devices. The
only issue is that DVI carries no audio signal so it is video only. You only need the HDMI cable to connect it.

@SpeedyRobo : Unfortunately I have only seen 2 types of video + audio adapters like you are considering ... the VGA/3.5mm which is basically using analog/SD, or ones that support digital (HD) DVI + coaxial/optical
audio. I don't think there is one that crosses thresholds for audio, and the XBOne has only either the HDMI or the optical out.
