C'mon really,720p again for battlefield 1?

Your right, but that's like comparing apples and oranges.

BF4 had a lot more destructibility, higher resolution textures, larger maps, more players online, all of which takes its toll on a game.

Also, if I remember right BF3 didn't run at 720p on the Xbox 360, it ran at sub 720p (cant remember what resolution it was, i'll google it)

All that other people are saying on this post is that if a game is fun, exciting and enjoyable to play, does it really matter what the resolution is? I mean look at one of the best selling games of all time (minecraft) it looks pretty much the same whatever
resolution you run it at.

Is the Xbox One underpowered? yes, I'm not defending it, but I still enjoy playing games on it.

Nobody is here trying and convince you of anything, only you can decided what you want to do concering said issues you have with a games consoel and games.

I want great gameplay and modern graphics fidelity and resolution you guys are happy with just gameplay good for you......... Not convinced at all sorry, I think the fanboys duth protest to much! Lol

I had most of those consoles and tbh not really interested in anything other than a nostalgic glance their way now.

@ Daft Badger Yeap, EA still being one of the worse, they threw BF4 out the door onto the XB1 at 720p to catch all that lovely pre-order money then when they wanted to sell what should have been BF4 dlc, they decide to sell as a new franchise at full
price and low and behold they pulled 900p out of thin air, from the same engine...... ..yet over at Destiny we got 1080p, Halo MC, 1080p, FH2 1080p, GTAV 1080p, FO4 1080p WS New order 1080p, F6 1080p.........but *** you MS for not making BF4 1080p because,
you know......just because. lol

And do not even start me on Ubisoft and their lazy 900p ports for both systems.

But at the end of the day if you want 1080p or higher with all the bells and whistles, and resolution is affecting your enjoyment, then you are on the wrong system, it is that simply, you need to move to the PC for these games, of course the downside of
that is say bye bye to assisted aim and say hello to all the PC players on mouse and keyboard who will turn you into swiss cheese in every game until you become proficient in those control's, pc games on mouse and keyboard make joypad gamers like like they
are playing the game while wearing boxing gloves.......so you got to weigh up what you are willing to compromise on, but at least you will be getting turned into swiss cheese in 1080p/ right.

The problem you have to realise about this generation console compared to the last generation is that when the 360 launched, it wasn't in the middle of the worst financial crisis for generations.

Could Microsoft/Sony have made both console more powerful? of course they could, but they would have had to charge for it, and unlike their previous consoles, both Microsoft and Sony actually make money on every console sold (not much). Compare that to
the previous generation where they lost money on every console sold.

Also as has been said by many people, in the middle of a fire fight on most games I cant tell you what resolution the game is running at, could be 1080p, could be 720p, I have no idea and I don't care. As long as I'm having fun, resolution is meaningless.
For example, Ark: Survival Evolved runs at a much lower resolution than the PC version, but I don't care, it still looks good and plays well and most of all ITS FUN.
