C'mon really,720p again for battlefield 1?

If your ok with the performance great I'm delighted for you but I expected more.

I said "forums"( bit of a general statement) not the official xbox forums please stop nit picking in defence of 720 p.

Would you rather bf1 in 900 p/1080p 60fps ?if your answer is no then one of three thing are true...... You have a 720p native tv, your in denial or your eyesight is not great lol.

The xbox 360 had better visuals than my high end rig I built back just before it launched 2 x 7800gt's ( 7800gtx bios) overclocked a 3800X2 overclocked to 2.6 ghz ( fx speed at the time) 2 gig of overclocking ram can't remember which type).

Xbox one was equal to a low to mid range gaming rig!

I play my xbox one all the time but I know its never been a beast not like the 360 at launch.

 

I don't care about the resolution/fps.If a game is crap then a game is crap.

It's a bonus if a good game looks nice but it's not the be all or end all.

My tv does 1080p just fine,i'm not in denial & my eyesight is just fine thanks.

Of course the 360 made more impact at launch,you were going from standard resolution to HD

Like I said,if graphics & resolutions are your main concern then get a high end gaming pc.

The problem you have to realise about this generation console compared to the last generation is that when the 360 launched, it wasn't in the middle of the worst financial crisis for generations.

Could Microsoft/Sony have made both console more powerful? of course they could, but they would have had to charge for it, and unlike their previous consoles, both Microsoft and Sony actually make money on every console sold (not much). Compare that to
the previous generation where they lost money on every console sold.

Also as has been said by many people, in the middle of a fire fight on most games I cant tell you what resolution the game is running at, could be 1080p, could be 720p, I have no idea and I don't care. As long as I'm having fun, resolution is meaningless.
For example, Ark: Survival Evolved runs at a much lower resolution than the PC version, but I don't care, it still looks good and plays well and most of all ITS FUN.

 

Take it you won't be getting Scorpio them lol if your so happy with xbox ones performance lol..

I've already said I DON'T WANT TO GAME ON PC . Xbox is underpowered in my opinion this time round when its 720p on the latest battlefield game in 2016.

 

The game is not out yet so who knows what the end result will be once the devs get it finished. might be great, might be bad, but i alway think a positive outlook is the way to go, that way if it turns out bad you at least had all that positive time waiting
for it as a bonus

 

Trying to say a 970 gtx I7 16 gig ram etc " your alleged pc" is almost the same as the experience on xbox one is just ludicrous lol please get yourself to specsavers ASAP!

Your right, I even explained why its underpowered (but that's defending apparently)

You have a few options:

1: Live with it

2: By a more powerful console

3: Play the game on PC

You seem incapable of 1 and you don't want to do 3, so your only cause of action is 2. Now considering that even the PS4 cant play Battlefield 1 at 1080p I guess your going to be buying the Neo when it gets released.

The xbox one can do 1080p,the developers are the ones who make the game so maybe the op should whine at them.

So I can play my favorite games ( battlefield series ) with a modern fidelity and resolution

All here defending the xbox one's "power" and frostbite engine performance will not be interested as they are clearly above the whole " graphics" thing ha ha

 

@ Daft Badger Yeap, EA still being one of the worse, they threw BF4 out the door onto the XB1 at 720p to catch all that lovely pre-order money then when they wanted to sell what should have been BF4 dlc, they decide to sell as a new franchise at full
price and low and behold they pulled 900p out of thin air, from the same engine...... ..yet over at Destiny we got 1080p, Halo MC, 1080p, FH2 1080p, GTAV 1080p, FO4 1080p WS New order 1080p, F6 1080p.........but *** you MS for not making BF4 1080p because,
you know......just because. lol

And do not even start me on Ubisoft and their lazy 900p ports for both systems.

But at the end of the day if you want 1080p or higher with all the bells and whistles, and resolution is affecting your enjoyment, then you are on the wrong system, it is that simply, you need to move to the PC for these games, of course the downside of
that is say bye bye to assisted aim and say hello to all the PC players on mouse and keyboard who will turn you into swiss cheese in every game until you become proficient in those control's, pc games on mouse and keyboard make joypad gamers like like they
are playing the game while wearing boxing gloves.......so you got to weigh up what you are willing to compromise on, but at least you will be getting turned into swiss cheese in 1080p/ right.

 

Yep,we are above the graphics thing as we know that gameplay,fun & enjoyment comes above graphics.

But hey,if the game is as boring as hell with broken gameplay & a shoddy story what does it matter as long as it's in 1080p etc.

 

^^Yeap, entire generations got by on actually enjoying the games without ever asking once what res it was running at, but now it seems you are not supposed to ever enjoy any game unless it is 1080p/60fps.

I am glad i never bought in to this whole resolution thing pushed by gaming media sites for click bait ad revenue, that is why i can happily pop my Gamecube, Dreamcast, Sega Saturn, Wii, N64, PS2/3, and Philips CD-I, on to my big TV any time i want and enjoy
almost unlimited collection of classic cracking games.

Ok, meybe not the CD-I. lol

 

I want great gameplay and modern graphics fidelity and resolution you guys are happy with just gameplay good for you......... Not convinced at all sorry, I think the fanboys duth protest to much! Lol

I had most of those consoles and tbh not really interested in anything other than a nostalgic glance their way now.

 

Nobody is here trying and convince you of anything, only you can decided what you want to do concering said issues you have with a games consoel and games.
