    Clueless On All Of This


    We recently got a 2nd Xbox due to divorce so one Xbox lives at one house and one at the other. My son has an Xbox account that I think he can use in any Xbox. My ex has the email address, password, live subscription etc. for the original Xbox. I want to set up my own Xbox account for the new one where I control the subscription, settings and money. If I do that, will there be any type of problem for my son to log in and play on both consoles? It seems like there is an Xbox owner account and user accounts…but this is all new to me. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    If you were to set up an account, it wouldn't have any affect on your son's account since your ex has all of the information for his account. Everything is tied to accounts, not consoles.
