    I want to use cloud, but I on;t have a harddrive. I use an external one. All Cloud wants is 514mb and I ave over 5g. But it just keeps saying I have no room. Do I need an actual hard drive fr the 360?

    Why not?

    Storage is very simple. OnLive etc run full games from the cloud, though granted its not quite like the real thing. If you have a disc in the console though, plus cloud functionality, why couldnt the cloud replace the HDD. Games run from the disc, cloud storage is used for all data saving. Seems simple enough to me.

    SweetKittyPaws, if you have a 5Gig Xbox 360 - buy a Hard Drive for it (an official one), they are about $130. Your cloud is for saved games - save all games to the cloud best way. If you are installing games buy a hard drive and install on those.

    The Xbox 360 uses external hard drives differently to the Xbox One.

    It doesn't see them as combined storage.

    So yes you will need the 360 internal drive... which you can get separately and install yourself.

    Finding a cheap 20gig HDD for a 360 should be no probs on EBay. I actually have one under my bed that I've been to lazy to sell.

    and i dont have xbox gold and i lost my xbox hard drive

    Cloud

    you can plug a USB hard disk, say 1, 2 or 3 terabyte into either a 360 or an xbox one and you can load your games onto that drive. Note that It will format that drive so it's no longer useable on a computer.

    make sure you have the latest set of Dashboard updates. But yes you can format a cheap 1tb drive and store all your games on it.

    I know what the "cloud" is or isn't, but it was interesting how last year it was the cloud, the power of the cloud, the cloud, the cloud, cloud.....

    This year they just stated "servers", I said long at the time when everyone was getting wet about the cloud that it meant nothing. I also stated technically all EA games have run in the "cloud" as they are run on servers based away from the user. An cloud
    is not a "buzzword" cloud gaming started many many years ago with onlive.
