Cloud sync

Main question: Is there any way to turn off cloud sync on Xbox series s/x without going offline?

I have been looking long and hard for an answer to this. In Elden Ring, I am essentially trying to make a backup save on the cloud to be able to respec and make new builds for PVP. On pc, this is as simple as copying the specific save game files for a backup. You can’t exactly copy the save files on Xbox (copying the entire game is useless). The next best thing is using the cloud. Even on PS5, there is an option to turn off automatic cloud sync which allows you to choose when you want to upload/download to/from the cloud. I believe there was even a way on Xbox 360. The functionality of turning off automatic cloud sync would be that I could upload a good backup save on Elden Ring to the cloud, turn off sync, proceed to make a specific build and PVP with it, and when I’m done, I would delete the save data from the console only. After turning sync back on and rebooting the game, it would force sync the last cloud save data - which would be before I made the build - and start the game from there.

If the only answer really is to “just go offline,” then I would like to make a suggestion for a new feature. Microsoft, please implement a way to turn off automatic cloud sync on Xbox. Though it would be nice, this doesn’t even have to be as complicated at PS5 where you can manually control the cloud data uploading/downloading. Just a simple switch in setting that turns it off would be functionally identical, and it would make such a big difference.
