  1. Cloud Sync seems to be having a serious problem


    For well over a month now I've been struggling to sync data between my two consoles. At first I thought it was a MCC specific problem but Batman is doing it and that has a relatively tiny save file to sync. Is there a known issue at the moment? I'm in the
    preview program but it can't be that as there have been numerous updates and the problem just does not go away. It can take up to ten "retries" before I can get the file sync'd properly for use. Decent connection, Open NAT on both consoles and one is wired
    whilst the other is wireless - it's the same experience on both.

    Xbox One - Accidentally clicked the wrong option upon launching, causing me to lose saved data?

    when you play with the same account on diferent console, you must always sync cloud to continue your game where you be

    this time, seems you not sync cloud and start the game from the begginig

    when you go to your mom console, select not sync cloud to continue your progress

    Lost game saves, can't play games

    Spoke with ms support and their attempting to re-sync my cloud storage. Apparently 48hrs to do it. Seems its a cloud issue

    Still getting this. I guess I move between multiple consoles more than most so am prone to this but it'd be good to know if others who use cloud sync are experiencing the problem as I'm confident it must be a wider issue than just affecting me.

    HI YoshiMax,

    I have a few consoles and have only experienced this issue a couple times. Historically, this happens to me, when I'm in game still, or logged in on the other console, and haven't closed the game. Xbox uses multitasking so technically the game is still running
    in the background. Does this continue to happen if you back out of the game, then select menu on the game tile, and click close? This completely turns off the game. If that doesn't help try actually logging off your profile before going to the room.

    Let us know if either of these solutions work for you. Also does this happen only one way? Meaning does it only happen when you go from Room A to Room B, or does it happen on Room A and Room B?

    Having this issue as well. 2nd console no longer syncs at all. I receive a 80004005 error on every game when attempting to sync on the 2nd console.

    MS validated no issues with my account, reset console to factory settings (awesome to reinstall every 50gb game in my library), to no evail.

    I personally think that this is an issue with the dashboard preview program, starting happening for me around June 28th.

    Sorry you're having issues with your data sync. Your issue looks a bit different than the OP's issue. Can you please take a look at the post above, and see if any of those suggestions help in your sync issues. It does not resolve your issues please create
    a new thread so the community can get a support experience tailored to your exact issue. Also the error code you're listing is a code that is generic across a lot of Microsoft platforms, and sometimes tied to network issues. If you're wireless try wired and

    Hi Hyrdro Skillet,

    I always fully close the game they way you describe and the games have always sync'd on the other console it's the speed with which it's pulling down the data and it happens on both consoles. It's quite problematic and it never used to happen everything
    used to sync pretty quickly.

    The best way to describe it is that it "times out" whilst trying to sync.

  9. I should have said I get the same error as Wolverine - the 80004005 "we were unable to sync your data with the cloud just now"

  10. if you're still having problems with the syncing thing. I spoke to one of microsofts helper people, they gave me a solution which worked perfectly

    Firstly, all you will need is a mobile with a mobile hotspot capability, and internet data (obviously). Then go to xbox settings > network, then 'disconnect wireless' then go to settings > power and startup, and switch your console off.

    Turn it back on, and connect to your mobile's hot-spot (don't worry if your NAT is Strict), then open up your game and the game should sync just fine. After if it has synced you can connect back to your normal connection, and everything should be ok. (I
    wish i had found this earlier as today i just sold my forza horizon 2 which i got for £38 for just £16, you could imagine how i feel)

    if, however you have already resolved the issue, try and get this solution out to help others.

    This problem is mainly due to having 2 game saves or something like that. mainly if you've had a replacement xbox, or just trying to sync on another console.
