    Cloud Sync - right before Fallout 4's about to land!


    Literally my worst nightmare guys and gals, so whoever can help will win my gratitude forever - likely make it onto my xmas card list too (reserved mainly for relatives and the odd support forum member Cloud Sync - right before Fallout 4's about to land! :p ).

    So, booted up GTA today to find it would load into new SP mode - saves gone....weird, so I removed my local saved and expected cloud to do its thing.

    Well it ain't! I can't load any games' saves now - get varying in-game errors commenting on lack of save files (expected as I deleted them), but no clear attempt to download from the cloud either, which is what I thought was supposed to happen.

    Network is 'good' and NAT's open, I've done the powercycle/remove brick thing, and removed/re-added my profile - still no joy.

    Any ideas peeps? It's oh so close to Fallout day! Cloud Sync - right before Fallout 4's about to land! :(

    Lost my Fallout 4 save due to a cloud problem...

    So I'm pretty irritated at the moment. I wanted to load up some Fallout 4 to try some mods out.

    As it turns out, the cloud sync issue has yet to be addressed by Xbox. This is the same issue I faced when I first bought Fallout 4. I'm blown away that there hasn't been a fix put in place yet.

    So here I sit. Fallout 4 attempting to sync my data. It's been on 4% for almost an hour now. I'm disappointed they don't care enough to fix a problem like this...

    Save not syncing

    I recently downloaded the latest update for Fallout 4 after not playing for a couple of weeks. I go to play the game and it starts trying to sync to the cloud. I let it sit for about 25 minutes or so and it didn't sync so I cancelled the sync and went to
    Fallout 4->manage game to check on my save only to realize it wasn't on my Xbox anymore. Last I checked I had a close to 2 gb save file and now I have none. I've tried multiple hard resets with no success. I've started the sync again. It's been going on for
    close to 2 hours now with no change. Is there anything I can do at this point to get my cloud save?

    Cloud syncing blows chunks! ;-)

    Before I left my girlfriends made sure there was nothing regarding Fallout 4 on her X Box. While "managing" game there was my save data in the upper right hand corner, and upon selecting it there was just the option to "delete from console"...no option to
    move or copy. Got home plugged the hard drive in, powered on, then selected "go offline.". Proceeded to pop in Fallout 4 and found only the save before I left several days ago. Went back online and started up Fallout 4 again and got something along the lines
    of the console save was different than the Cloud save, and which did I want to play. Choose the Cloud save, it synced, and away I go.

    I feel like going off on another rant about Microsoft holding my saves hostage in the Cloud...but I won't. It's getting late and I have to work tomorrow. Maybe another day. Lol.

    4 times i have restarted fallout due to xbox not syncing - get it together ms - ur cloud is crapping out

    Sync cloud data not working again and again....

    Problem is back for me now.

    Fallout 4 and Star Wars Battlefront saves can't be synced.

    With Fallout it can take at least half an hour before telling you the sync has failed.

    Syncing of Data

    You could try, if your saves are already backed up to the cloud:

    Go into my games > Fallout 4 > Press (≡) > Manage:

    Try to find on the right column the saves under your username, if they were already downloaded to the console

    Press menu on the saves -> select delete

    Make sure to click from console, NOT FROM EVERYWHERE (this would delete all of your saves forever)

    Power cycle your xbox

    Open Fallout 4 and let it reinstall (try to re-sync) your saves from the cloud.

    It can sometimes take a bit of time for Fallout 4 to sync. About how long are you waiting for it to sync?
