Discus and support Cloud storage unavailable in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I'm trying to enable the cloud storage on my Xbox 360 so I can move my saved games to my new Xbox One but I keep getting the message "Sorry cloud...     Cloud storage unavailable


    I'm trying to enable the cloud storage on my Xbox 360 so I can move my saved games to my new Xbox One but I keep getting the message "Sorry cloud storage isn't available to everyone yet. For more info go to www.xbox.com/cloudstorage." I have a gold account
    so it's not that. Any ideas on what I need to do to fix this?

    Hi,

    When trying to enable Cloud Storage for Saved Games I get the error:

    Cloud Storage Unavailable

    Sorry, cloud storage isn't available.

    Status code: 0x807b0198

    I have a Gold account and my Xbox is definitely connected to the Internet with open NAT.

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    Cloud storage unavailable

    They say to

    • From the Xbox Dashboard, go to Settings, and then select System.
    • Select Storage, and then select your primary storage device.
    • Select System Items, and then select Cloud Storage Console Copy.
    • Select Delete.
    But there's no 'Cloud Storage Console Copy' for me to delete?! What else can I do!?

    Hey everyone!

    Sorry to hear about the Cloud storage troubles. Let's get you down the right path to help clear this up. Can we have you re-download your profile on your Xbox 360 to see if there's any change with your cloud storage accessibility? To re-download your profile,
    press the guide button and select "Download Profile" and re-enter your information. You shouldn't need to delete your profile as this will re-download it.

    Please keep us looped in with how it goes.

    I'm having the exact same problem. I even talked to Xbox support, and they weren't helpful. I swear I've tried EVERYTHING. I even bought the gold membership just so I could use the cloud storage, and now when I try to enable the cloud storage, it doesn't
    work and I get the same message over and over.

    I've got the same problem. Wasted 3 hours trying to get this damn thing to work. I bought my kids an xbox one for Christmas and am trying to copy across game data from minecraft and terarria but can't do it because I keep getting this Cloud Storage Unavailable
    message, despite signing up to Gold membership on 2 separate accounts. I'm getting to the point where I am going to send this POS back and exchange it for a PS4.

    Could it be a corrupt cache?

    These steps I found from this Xbox support
    site     to try and fix this. The steps delete the cloud saves. So I'm unsure if you have anything saved there already but this would delete your cloud saves.

    Can't enable cloud storage just yet

    If you get this message, here's what to do:

    1. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to settings and then select System.
    2. Select Storage, and then select your primary storage device (for example, Hard Drive).
    3. Select System Items.
    4. Select Cloud Storage Console Copy.
    5. Select Delete.
