  1. Cloud storage on backwards compatible (Mass Effect 2)

I’ve been trying to start a new game of Mass Effect 2 on backward compatibility by transferring my character from ME1, however after reaching the first point when I have to pick a storage device it won’t let me save in the cloud storage. An error message
saying “Items on another Xbox are waiting to be uploaded for the game or app. To use cloud storage, sign in to the Xbox you last played on and upload the items to the cloud“ appears, but I’ve just been playing ME1 on xbox one so im very confused to how I’m
    going to enable cloud storage.

    :)

    Mass Effect Backwards Compatibility

I know Mass Effect 1 is backwards compatible and recently there was an update for Xbox One to support multi-disc 360 games. Does anyone know if there are any plans for Mass Effect 2 and 3 to be backwards compatible, and also will the DLCs be supported as
    well?

When it says other items it doesn't just mean ms1 have you played anything else on Xbox one back compact or Xbox 360?

The Xbox 360 emulated games have a strange way to save.

When you end a game session with a Xbox 360 backwards compatible game, make sure you really quit the game by going to the Home Screen, and then pressing the menu button on the running Xbox 360 game, and choose Quit from the menu.

Only then will the emulated Xbox 360 end the game and synchronize the savegame.

When you just leave a game through the Home Screen and start a different game, the emulated Xbox 360 will be in some sort of "hibernation", and unable to properly sync the savegame, leaving the status of the game as being "in progress of being uploaded,
    but not yet finished".

So start Mass Effect 1, make sure your game is properly saved, and then actually quit the running game on the Xbox Home Screen with the menu button and the "Quit" option.

I cant save my game in mass effect 2

    Hello eVo,

We understand that you're experiencing an issue concerning the inability to gather the saved data from the cloud on your Xbox One console through the backwards compatible menu or Xbox 360 emulator due to an error that involves a previous console you don't
    associate with anymore.

Our suggestion here, use the emulator to manage game storage and delete Mass Effect 2 in an attempt to recover the cloud saves:

    1. Launch Mass Effect 2
    2. Upon getting to the main menu, press the menu and view button at the same time
    3. Look for manage game
    4. Delete the storage for Mass Effect 2 and then restart the game

Try this and let us know if this works.

    Best wishes!
