    Cloud storage not enabling?


    Hey there,

    I have an Xbox Live Gold account set up on my 360 as well as my One, but on my 360 it's saying I can't enable cloud storage as it it only available to Gold members.

    I've tried several times and it hasn't worked.

    Any suggestions?

    Why not?

    Storage is very simple. OnLive etc run full games from the cloud, though granted its not quite like the real thing. If you have a disc in the console though, plus cloud functionality, why couldnt the cloud replace the HDD. Games run from the disc, cloud storage is used for all data saving. Seems simple enough to me.

    Sorry to hear it. The gamertag you're posting with shows as Silver. Is it possible that you're sharing a Gold membership on the One?

    If you believe that you should then you should give phone support a call to get that sorted (1-800-469-9269 in North America).

    Otherwise a Gold Membership and an Xbox Hard Drive are required to set up the Cloud on the 360.

    Is your Cloud Storage enabled? I know if your Cloud Storage is enabled your Xbox wont shut down right away.

    Assuming she has a Gold account, enable Cloud Storage, then Copy the contents of the MU to the Cloud Storage device.

    What happend??

    Enable cloud save( go to settings - system - storage - cloud save - enable)

    When you start gow 3, select cloud save instead of your HD storage, play a quick match and it'll automatically save to your cloud storage.

    Now switch back to your HD storage by simply changing the storage on the options.

    Repeat anytime you want to backup your data.
