Cloud Storage Corrupting Saved Heroes

have a level 39 crusader that got deleted because my files are corrupt (I played last night, 5th Sept.) at a friends house. Today at home (same console same HD, i brought it over there) I don't have the hero anymore. I have my old Diablo 3 hero on the HD
but the Cloud said the files are corrupt and I have to start over. When i start a new hero I can go to "view hero profile" and it shows I have a level 39 crusader. When i switch to the HD I have my old Diablo 3 hero and the crusader has no record of being
created. I can create a new crusader on the Old account but cannot recover my hero.

Does anyone have any experience with this? no ambassador could help per usual.

also you can save your game saves to xbox cloud storage if you have xbox live gold.

Set up cloud storage for saved games

To use cloud storage for your saved games, you need:

xbox live gold

A console connected to Xbox LIVE

514 megabytes (MB) of storage space on your console (local cache)

Step 1: Turn on Cloud Saved Games (for a console)

From the Xbox Dashboard, go to Settings, and then select System.

Select Storage, and then select Cloud Saved Games.

Select Enable Cloud Saved Games.

I have a similar prob, yesterday(Sep 10th) i had got my 3rd lvl 70 character and after gearing him up(monk) i switched over to my Crusader to run a few rifts which i did do. Later on last night i went to check and see if i had any gifts and i noticed it
asked me to choose the screen size and brightness lvls for no apparent reason, after i got past that it told me to link my account again to Blizzard..which got me thinking oh hell, and i checked my list and i was only left with my Crusader i had a lvl 70 DH,
61 Barb, 70 Monk, and like a 40ish wizard along with a lvl 25 barb and a lowbie hardcore character. i lost all my best Dex gear/legendary. I really enjoy this game im paragon lvl 109 or something and i wish this didn't happen because its made quite unhappy,
one might even say ***. Help if possible..

When you deleted the save data did you also delete it from the cloud save storage?

If the save data is corrupt, it will need to be deleted from the cloud as well or else the corrupted data will be uploaded back.

If you're a Gold member, the best bet to avoid saved game corruption is to copy over your save to Cloud storage for the interim.

Thanks. But my local save was not corrupted. It is that I did a Xbox factory reset. After that, I did try to re-sync my Minecraft world (500+MB) and the console said "the cloud save is corrupted".

Is it possible that I get the "corrupted" save from your cloud storage and then I can try to repair it? The Minecraft save is so precious to us. Is this possible?

You have to delete your save in your HD as well if it gets corrupted before using Cloud storage to get all your info back.

I do not recommend you playing all day using your Cloud storage as it can get corrupted and then you are done. Just save one game and go back to using your HD.
