Cloud saving is a problem.

Discus and support Cloud saving is a problem. in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I've been an Xbox user 7 or 8 years. and I did not problems with being one until I got my Xbox One S and its all because of one simple reason....     Cloud saving is a problem.


    I've been an Xbox user 7 or 8 years. and I did not problems with being one until I got my Xbox One S and its all because of one simple reason. Automatic Cloud Saving. Its a Great Feature, I certainly understand why people like it, its handy for backups,
    its great to be able to take your game anywhere without having to carry a flash drive or larger. But the developers didn't take in consideration that some peoples ability to access the internet. A person's internet availability are based on agreements with
    local municipalities and the service providers. These agreements determine the how many providers can service the area and how much service is needed. Some providers will not touch certain areas, some lock the others out. I mention this as me and many others
    in my area are stuck with one service provider who refuses to upgrade their services, not even to keep up with the growing need and use internet, They only allow they're worker to fix services to the bare minimum. And In this area mobile hot spots through
    your cellphone provider is not an option. So in an area where your internet service is not always reliable I'll explain what happens to your Xbox One experience. Storm knocks out internet or slows it down cause your profile to constantly log off despite every
    other device in your house staying connected. More frustrating with when because of the constant lack of internet or because your only able to get the minimum required speed of 3MBps as your highest speed, your saved data is just lost. Not corrupted, not out
    of date, just lost. Could not be recovered, even when I went to a friend's place with my stuff and used his 1G speed internet. Just gone.

    What I don't get is why this feature was made automatic with no option to turn off. That's how it was with the 360 and I never had a problem there. I could have no internet and I could still play fully offline, I wouldn't lose any data, any updates would dlc
    could wait till internet worked again. The fact that it can't be off is causing a problem. And Between all the talks to Xbox Live Support, Microsoft Global Escalations, the feedback page, the suggestion page and various other places of discussion and all
    I can say is it kinda makes me feel like Xbox doesn't want to address a simple feature that they used to have that could fix a lot of gamers' experience. Its just not a feature that everyone can use, and in some cases even want to use.

    Cloud saves problem

    Hey there Ethosnavi,

    Sorry to hear about the issue with using cloud saves through Backward Compatibility. Let's have you try these steps to clear the Xbox 360 cache on the Xbox One and see if it helps.

    Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.

    1. Select Settings.
    2. Select All settings.
    3. Select System and then select Storage.
    4. Select Clear local Xbox 360 storage.
    5. Select Yes and restart the console.

    So I did what you said, it doesn't help( Whell, when my xbox offline it's ok with new save, but when I turn on the internet it begining sync and again my game have broken old save. When its sync, it doesn't ask me anything, its just sync and load save from
    cloud. But this save is broken, xbox doesnt want to overwrite it. I have tried one thing: I have started the game with clear good save (internet turned off), everything was fine. But then I turn on the internet and going to Live and game sync again even there,
    right in the single player! Then I got a message: your game was launched on other console. It will be restarted with save from that console. And before you ask, yes, I played with my friend that game on splitscreen on his console, we also tried to delete any
    data with my account from his console, but it doesnt help, and when I load game on his console I have the same bug.

    P.s. sorry for any mistakes in words, hope I have wrote it right, long time ago I tought english

    Hey Toha thanks for taking the time to bring this issue to us!

    All the information regarding the
    Cloud Saves     is posted on our website. Also we suggest Clearing the Local Saved Games by following these simple steps on the console:

    Settings

    System

    Storage

    Clear Local Saved Games

    Clear and restart

    IF THE CONSOLE IS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET no progress or purchase data will be lost, what we accomplish by doing these steps would be to resync the profile to the cloud getting rid of any corruption as a byproduct.

    Hi Toha,

    Thanks for reaching out to us! We understand this can be confusing and frustrating since Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 has corrupted saves. I know this is not the best option but I would recommend writing over the save since the current one is corrupted.

    If not it is always an option to contact the developers to see if they can access the cloud saves or send out a patch update for you.
