Cloud saves?

So I have an xbox one at home and I play one game right now - FO4. I also can't play at home right now for reasons, so I go to a local gaming lounge and pay for time. I would like to play my saved game from home while I'm at the lounge, so I buy a Live membership.
I open FO4 and play for a while, save, and leave.

I'm about to take a half day off work to go to the lounge, but I'm not at all sure if my game is now automatically in the cloud. I have not been able to find any evidence that, when I sign into my live account from this lounge, that my game will be there.
Given my experience with MS in the past ten years, I would bet you hard cold cash that I'll be playing Left 4 Dead or something else, because the save won't be accessible.

Is there a way to figure out if my games are in the cloud? I looked all over my xbox storage area and in my MS account on the computer. No where have I seen any mention of cloud saves.

I bought the live membership yesterday, ON my xbox one. It should have started working right away right? They charged my card. But usually MS launches a huge YOU BOUGHT A THING!!! campaign when you get a new feature and there wasn't a peep out of them...
I'm starting to wonder if I even HAVE a membership, even though it shows up in my "subscriptions."

I'm old. This stuff doesn't make any sense. I just want to play and I don't have hours and hours to mess around with the MS empire. Help.

Storage is very simple. OnLive etc run full games from the cloud, though granted its not quite like the real thing. If you have a disc in the console though, plus cloud functionality, why couldnt the cloud replace the HDD. Games run from the disc, cloud storage is used for all data saving. Seems simple enough to me.

 

I should add that, when I go to the "Storage" section of the menu in the xbox, I only see an option for local saves. Nowhere does it mention the cloud, as it is suggested it should in this post:

As long as you're signed into Live, your saves are automatically saved to the cloud on the One. For more information about saving to the cloud on the One, you may want to read this -

But I remain concerned because (in addition to knowing that nothing has ever worked out of the box for me with microsoft, never, ever), when I look in the "storage" section in the xbox, it says nothing about any storage save the hard drive. Should it say
something there about the cloud? Is it possible that, somehow, my subscription isn't activated or whatever?

 

I'm not aware of anywhere to see cloud saves at the moment. When you manage your games it will only show you your internal storage and any external storage you have connected.

It looks like you're not signed into the account you've been using, so I can't tell whether your subscription is active or not. You can always sign into
Sign in to your Microsoft account and it will show you your subscriptions. However, gold is not a requirement for using the cloud on the One so that would have no affect on your saves.
