Cloud saves will not sync between systems

I jump between my 360 and 1 because I bought the triple pack and can't get the docs to work on the Xbox one, but also the cloud saves won't sync between the two. I play mostly multiplayer on the Xbox one becacue it handles that so much better, but I prefer
the 360 for single player because of the dlc, but now I am stuck replaying almost 10 levels, just from this weeken!

It truly is heinous, but it's not MS doing it. Sony does this.
MS does not. Isturbo, it was rather something you didn't do to access offline saves or perhaps xbox live was having an issue.

2 Xbox One X’s, One Live Account... Can I download and play the same games on both?

Yes, as long as the last time you played was online the xbox you were playing on uploaded your save to the cloud.

So when you go to your other system and login, launch game you might see something like "game sync" or "save files syncing" or something like that. Then when you launch it, boom same saves.

Easy, that's why it rules.

EDIT: In fact if you go to a friends house and they own same game as you and you login with your GT on that system, and launch the game it will sync your cloud saves as long as his system is also online. Then again, if you go back home or to ANY OTHER SYSTEM that is connected to the internet will have this all happen automatically in the background.

Borderlands is a little confusing in this regard. If you're using "cloud saves" via the consoles themselves, it won't sync. You have to actually go into the BL2 menu on the 360, go into the "cloud saves" option, then upload your character. Once done,
you can go into the same menu option on the One, then download that character. Note that they'll never truly "sync", meaning that you can't move your character up 4 levels on the One, then go to the 360 and pick up where you left off; it's only designed to
migrate your character from the 360 to the One. Also note that anything you have in ****'s Stash won't xfer from the 360 to the One, so make sure you grab any gear out of it that you want to keep, and have it either in your backpack or in your vault.

I did not mean to ask whether the save was synced between cloud versions on different devices. What I meant to ask if whether the save could be synced between the cloud version and the locally installed console version.

Saves are automatically sync'ed between systems, if you buy an xbox one s it would be like playing on an xbox one. You won't notice a difference in how games access save files, plug in the new system and download your profile. Boot up a game and wait while
the game syncs, your save data will then be available offline as well.

Every time you see the sync your system is sync'ing your offline save with your cloud save, and it will work the same on S and Scorpio.

Thanks for clarifying. Sadly, it is not possible to transfer save data between the Xbox Cloud Gaming service and a locally installed console version of a game. The save data for games played on Xbox Cloud Gaming is stored on the cloud servers and is not accessible on a local console. Similarly, save data for games played on a local console is not synced with the cloud.

Game saves are automatically stored on the cloud as long as you're signed into Live. So once you start a game on the new system, it will sync with the cloud and load your save.
