    Cloud Saved Games - Sorry, cloud storage isn't available. Status code: 83860009


    Hi,

    28th February cloud saves working fine with Diablo 3.

    1st March, Xbox live gold subscription expired. Launched Diablo 3, cloud saves not available.

    Renewed membership of Xbox gold for one month. Launched Diablo 3, selecting Cloud saves and message pops up stating "Sorry, cloud storage isn't available. Status code: 83860009"

    Troubleshooting

    • Moved save game from local Cloud Saves under settings > storage to a USB.
    • Launched Diablo 3
    • Choose USB, saves game works fine
    • Choose Cloud Saves, no error or message appears and asks to setup your screen and create a new character. No saves available but it does work.
    • Exited back to console settings and moved save game back to cloud storage
    • Launched Diablo 3
    • Choose Cloud Saves, message appears "Sorry, cloud storage isn't available. Status code: 83860009"
    Can't find info on this Status Code. Need help to resolve issue, thanks.

    Trying to enable Cloud Storage for Saved Games gives 0x807b0198 error

    Hi,

    When trying to enable Cloud Storage for Saved Games I get the error:

    Cloud Storage Unavailable

    Sorry, cloud storage isn't available.

    Status code: 0x807b0198

    I have a Gold account and my Xbox is definitely connected to the Internet with open NAT.

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    I am a gold member, but when I try to enable System settings/storage/cloud saved games, there is a failure: sorry, cloud storage isn't available everyone yet. Could you help anybody, what I can do to enable it?

    Solution

    Copy to USB or HDD, load game and play. This will create a newer save game on USB. Exit to settings > storage and move save game from USB to Cloud Storage. Launch game, you should see Syncing cloud storage and then select Cloud storage. Game works fine now.

    Solution

    Copy to USB or HDD, load game and play. This will create a newer save game on USB. Exit to settings > storage and move save game from USB to Cloud Storage. Launch game, you should see Syncing cloud storage and then select Cloud storage. Game works fine now.

    Hey there Ramos,

    Sorry to hear you're having issues with your Cloud Saving.

    There is a game save stored in the cloud, but cloud save storage is not active on this console.



    To turn on cloud storage on this console: From the Dashboard > Settings > System > Storage > Cloud Saved Games > Enable Cloud Saved Games.

    Hope this helps, and sorry for copying text from article.

    Saved games are automatically stored in the cloud while you're connected

    to Xbox Live. You don't have to select cloud storage. If you sign in to

    a different Xbox One console, your saves are available from that

    console when you sign in with your Xbox profile.

    Do I need an Xbox Live Gold subscription to use cloud storage?
    No. Anyone who is signed up for the Xbox Live service can store their saved games in the cloud.

    Unfortunately there is no access to the cloud saves as the account does the saving automatically when connected to the Xbox Live service.

    "Saved games are automatically stored in the cloud while you're connected to Xbox Live. You don't have to select cloud storage. If you sign in to a different Xbox One console, your saves are available from that console when you sign in with your Xbox profile.

    So, technically you can't really access the cloud storage as it is automatically updated as long as you're connected to Xbox Live. So whichever game you want to save to the cloud is already saved and updated to your cloud. Your cloud storage is limited to
    how much storage your console has because the cloud storage grows as your game library grows. It's not necessarily a storage that adds to your console's storage. It's more like a vault that holds your saved games, so if something happens to the saved data
    on your Xbox, you can sync that same data back from the cloud in the event if you have to delete it locally from the hard drive.
